Membrane Technologies for the Separation of Industrial Gases

This article will give a brief primer on industrial membranes and will describe mass-transfer equations for nonporous gas-separation membranes. It will discuss scale-up challenges for gas separation, and the materials typically employed to construct industrial membranes. Finally, it will describe several of the applciation areas where gas separation membranes are being used.
