Implementing Integrity Operating Windows

The development of an integrity operating window (IOW) program can be performed as a stand-alone initiative or conducted as part of a risk-based assessment of a particular operating unit. Guidelines are available to assist in addressing risk and damage mechanisms. However, little information is available to assist in ensuring successful implementation of the sampling program once the variables and their limits have been identified. This article presents an approach that can facilitate successful implementation.
