Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) encompasses methods and technologies to remove CO2 from emissions and from the atmosphere, recycle the CO2 for useful applications, and store CO2 safely and permanently. This article identifies some of the innovative CCUS options that are being developed.
