Witte C-20 clamp

The Witte C-20 clamp eliminates confined-space entry hazards because it is permanently mounted on machinery to hold covers, housings, panels, doors, and other parts together, yet it retracts easily for fast access to the interior. Used in place of welding, riveting and other fixed fasteners, the C-20 clamp system eliminates inaccessible spaces and enables inspection, part replacement, cleaning, and other maintenance activities to be performed without requiring an employee to enter the unit. By safeguarding workers from exposure to potentially harmful situations, the C-20 clamp eliminates concern for compliance with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.146 standard governing permit-required confined spaces, as well as the need for respirators, suits, and associated safety gear.
