With its fully modular design, the two-port Spira-Trol control valve uses a low number of components to create a highly flexible and maintainable system where one valve can satisfy the needs of numerous industrial requirements. Both ANSI and EN versions share the same internals, and only three pneumatic actuators are required for valves up to 4-in. in size. The valve incorporates self-aligning and clamp-in-place internals for ease of maintenance. Its hard trim materials and modular design diffuse the discharge from plug and seat, as well as reduces internal flow velocities to minimize internal erosion. Standard offerings include: cast iron, SG iron, carbon steel, stainless steel or NACE construction; equal percentage, linear or fast-opening flow characteristic; 1/2- to 4-in. sizes; and ANSI, PN, JIS, KS, NPT, BSP or SW connections.
