SUPRADEL HTS
With a glass transition temperature of 265°C and a heat deflection temperature of 255°C, this new aromatic sulfone polymer offers the highest heat resistance of any transparent amorphous thermoplastic polymer commercially available today. The SUPRADEL HTS features good strength, stiffness and dielectric properties over a wide temperature range, as well as resistance to acids and bases, and to hydrolysis by hot water and steam. The polymer can used in high-temperature injection molding applications, which have traditionally been limited to filled, semi-crystalline polymers, such as glass-filled PEEK. The SUPRADEL HTS is also a good candidate for metal replacement.
