Polymer system EP79
Polymer system EP79 is a silver-coated nickel-filled epoxy with extremely low electrical resistance. Curing at room temperature yields an epoxy with a volume resistivity of less than 0.04 ohm-cm. Higher temperatures result in more rapid curing, which forms strong bonds with high shear and peel strength, plus resistance to thermal cycling, mechanical shock and vibration. EP79 has a 1:1 mix ratio, and a temperature range of –452ºF to 275ºF. It is an alternative to silver-filled epoxy and is available in premixed and frozen syringes, as well as in jars and cans of various sizes
