The PCC Fluid Transfer Containers are used for transfers of crude oil, saltwater, petroleum products, chemicals, acids, foods, beverages and pharmaceutical fluids. They help eliminate spills by mounting directly onto the tank line or truck. Connections with hoses are now enclosed inside the container. When the transfer is complete, the firm’s patented sidewinder assembly valve is opened. Spills inside the container are drawn up and air is also drawn in to bleed the line. Upon disconnect there is little spilled inside the container (which is drawn up at the next transfer). PCC Fluid Transfer Containers have lids that can be locked for security. They prevent rainwater from entering or overflowing product onto the ground, while keeping out dirt, debris and wildlife. The most popular model is the PCC 301 with a 6.5-gal capacity. Each unit has a 1/4- in. carbon steel saddle welded to a schedule 40 collar or coupler. The collars come in 2-, 3- or 4-in. sizes. They are powder coated to prevent corrosion.
