Lined PVC Tubing

This tubing combines the flexibility and durability of its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) exterior with the unique properties of its Hytrel thermoplastic polyester elastomer lining. A molecular bond between the two materials makes them inseparable. The tubing offers low permeability to refrigerant gases and hydrocarbons and resists ozone and moisture. The Hytrel liner resists chemical attack and particulate buildup. The black PVC jacket insulates the tubing from electronic interference, provides flexibility, and imparts shock, abrasion, and UV resistance. The tubing is useful in applications where different performance is needed for the inside and outside of the tube, such as Hytrel’s oil resistance in a harsh environment where the durability of PVC is required. It is manufactured from FDA-approved ingredients and is odorless, tasteless, and inert, making it appropriate for food-contact applications. Other uses include air sampling, propane gas delivery, and general fluid transfer, as well as in the manufacture of computer equipment, appliances, vending machines, and lawn and garden equipment.
