The latest release of the D/3 Process Automation System (PAS), version 12.1, running under Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Professional, includes new hardware interfaces for Modbus/TCP and Allen- Bradley DF-1 Ethernet I/O protocols, and enhanced support of ControlNet. It also features software enhancements to trending, configuration, the Sequence and Batch Language (SABL), alarming, graphics, diagnostics, and many more. The new version will not make a customers’ D/3 PAS obsolete. The D/3’s guaranteed migration path ensures continuous ROI through an open system philosophy and allows customers to upgrade without major rewiring or rewriting of their application software.
