Biochrom Asys Expert Plus

The Biochrom Asys Expert Plus is a standalone multi-channel microplate reader that enables life science researchers to run a variety of microplate assays in parallel. The device can accommodate flat-, round-, or V-bottomed plates, and can store up to 120 methods and the results of up to 100 plates. Four shaking modes ensure complete mixing of solutions, allowing cells to stay in suspension, homogenizing colored solutions, and providing an equal, stable liquid meniscus in all wells. The system can download results to an external computer for data storage, manipulation and printing, and it can upload programs from the computer to the instrument. Assay formulas can include qualitative or quantitative assays, outlier elimination, transformation, and standard curve construction using factors and floating cut-off.
