The AF26 dual-channel absorption sensor precisely measures color and/or concentrations inline to assure product quality, maximize yield, detect contaminants or prevent excessive discharge to waste-treatment facilities. Constructed for virtually all sanitary CIP/SIP procedures, the AF26 sensor can accommodate all hazardous area classifications as well as measure extreme temperatures and pressures. Applications include: chemical concentration in solutions (e.g., Cl2, ClO2, H2O2, ozone, permang-anate and acids); trace hydrocarbons and aromatics in water; free water in refined fuels/hydrocarbons; turbidity; and suspended solids. The sensor can also be used for ASTM/Saybolt/APHA color measurements.
