900 Control Station

The 900 Control Station touchscreen operator interface for the HC900 control system has new features that allow operators to monitor their processes more efficiently and reduce data entry error. The enhancements include thermal batch management and reporting, expanded remote access, and improved alarm monitoring and security. Process alarming is now integrated into the operator interface, which reduces installation time by eliminating the need to set up separate displays. The system’s automated barcode data entry allows operators to quickly enter required batch identification data while reducing the chances for human error. Data may also be accessed from the interface via cell phone for remote monitoring. This system is used in industrial facilities to control standalone processes and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) applications. The HC900 includes hybrid controls used in thermal processes such as furnaces, kilns and dryers. It is also suitable for small-unit processing in pharmaceutical, chemical, biofuel and pilot-plant applications.
