Joe Walters brings a diverse background to his role as Manager of Business Development and Regulatory Affairs at West Basin Municipal Water District. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University, he began a career in Sales and Customer Service Management.
Joe added an additional degree in Golf Management from the College of the Desert in Palm Desert leading to a position of General Manager of a public golf course.
Joe transitioned from the experience of “water user” to “water purveyor” analyzing operations and managing Customer Service at Dominguez Water Company in Carson, CA.
Later, Joe joined West Basin where his marketing and customer service skills have contributed to building a recycled water customer base of over 300 customers with more to come.
