Mr. John C. Marshall is president of an aviation consulting firm that specializes in assisting commercial airlines world-wide improve operational, maintenance, and safety performances.  He formerly was vice president - Corporate Safety and Compliance for Delta Air Lines. Mr. Marshall had responsibility for six departments at Delta, including Flight Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Services, Emergency Planning and Operations, Safety Analysis and Quality Assurance, and Security.

Mr. Marshall gained aviation experience through his 26-year aviation career with the U.S. Air Force. His assignments included duties as a fighter pilot, special assistant to the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff, fighter squadron commander, base commander, and fighter wing commander. During his career, he primarily flew F-4s, F-15s, A-10s, and F-16s. Mr. Marshall later served as the Inspector General of the Pacific Air Forces and then became the Director of Operations of the Pacific Air Forces. In his last assignment, he served as the United State’s Director of Security Assistance for the Middle East where he was responsible for all sales, marketing, training, and logistic support between the United States and eleven countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Southwest Asia.

Mr. Marshall received his Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Air Force Academy in Colorado. He also is a graduate from the National War College, holds a master of arts degree in personnel management from Central Michigan University, and a master of science degree in civil engineering (environmental) from the University of Hawaii.
