Neles RotaryGlobe control valve

The Neles RotaryGlobe small-bore control valve can operate cost-effectively at pressures up to ASME 1500 class. Its rotary motion provides superior containment of fugitive emissions, reducing the risk of explosion and injury. The valve is designed so the thrust bearing is not in contact with the process fluid, thus avoiding the corrosion problems that often occur when hard particles are present in the flow.

Valtek MaxFlo 3 valve

The upgraded Valtek MaxFlo 3 valve prevents the stem from being removed or ejected while under pressure. This robust shaft blow-out protection is fully compliant with ASME’s B16.34 Section 6.5.1 safety standard. Featuring low breakout torque and a tight bidirectional shut-off, the valve’s design increases the Cv (flow coefficient) and minimizes shaft damage from erosive process fluid.

Horizontal Filtration Trailer (HFT)

With a total surface area of 242 ft2, the Horizontal Filtration Trailer (HFT) for temporary water treatment boasts the highest capacity flowrate of any single trailer on the market today. This trailer-mounted system provides high-quality effluent at flowrates up to 1,600 gal/min for general filtration. For pretreating reverse osmosis feedwater, the HFT can produce flows up to 1,200 gal/min. The system can be loaded with filter media, carbon or specialized resin, depending on the application and the customer’s specific requirements.

Venturi scrubber

This Venturi scrubber efficiently removes submicron dust particles from gases with temperatures up to 230ºC (450ºF) at the inlet. A quencher added to the inlet accommodates higher-temperature gas streams. The scrubbing liquid is introduced through open pipes — not nozzles — into the Venturi throat. This route ensures uniform liquid distribution, eliminating wet-dry line buildup in the fully wetted section. Dust-laden gas and scrubbing liquid collide in the throat, dispersing the liquid into drops on which the particles impact and become trapped.

Integrated Management System

The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) and Gabriel Performance Products, LLC, have created a management system database that integrates SOCMA’s ChemStewards program with other government-sponsored performance-improvement programs. The database provides a total approach to environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) management and is available to SOCMA members at no cost. The Integrated Management System (IMS) was created by Gabriel based on the ChemStewards Management System and complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 requirements.

PX Simulator

The PX Simulator is a free online tool that determines the optimal balance of flowrate and efficiency for the firm’s Advanced Series of air-operated double-diaphragm pumps. After the user enters the inlet, head, and flow parameters of the application, the pump model computes the inlet air pressure and efficiency management system (EMS) settings that yield the highest efficiency. The operator then simply turns the dial on the pump’s Pro-Flo X air-distribution system to that setting to achieve the lowest power consumption.

Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM) R3

The latest release of Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM) R3 software is the first fully integrated enterprise asset management (EAM) system built specifically for the life sciences industry. It now offers complete functionality to manage the full cycle of maintenance operations, including an integrated purchasing system, integrated storeroom management, and work plans for GMP data collection with pass/fail criteria.

Track 6.2 module

The Track 6.2 module is an upgrade of this firm’s contractor cost management solution that helps automate and speed the distribution of valuable, project-related data to key decision-makers. The updated reporting module provides users new functionality to schedule reports for delivery by email and allows large amounts of data to be scheduled for execution outside of peak hours. Examples of this streamlining include cost allocation importing, which allows contractors to upload allocations from their enterprise resource planning (ERP) or project management systems.

aspenONE

The latest release of aspenONE software delivers process mobility for iPad, iPhone, and Blackberry devices, allowing broader collaboration and visibility to support better decision-making across engineering and manufacturing functions. The mobile versions include Aspen IP.21 and Aspen Properties. Aspen IP.21 enables users to resolve operational performance issues faster — delivering increased profitability, reduced variability, and improved asset utilization in real time.

Thermo Scientific iTEVA Precision software module

The Thermo Scientific iTEVA Precision software module enables high-precision, automated analysis of high-concentration elements and precious metals. It seamlessly integrates with the iCAP 6000 Series of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometers (ICP-OES). The module features advanced data processing, which routinely enables relative standard deviation (RSD) values of less than 0.3% between sample aliquots to be achieved.
