(29d) Green Synthesis, Characterization and Physical Properties of Silver Nanoparticle Embedded in PVA

Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were synthesized by green synthesis using Malva sylvestris extract as reduced and capping agent added to poly vinylalcohol (PVA) solution and monitoring the growth of Ag NPs after 2, 4 and 8 min where films were made by casting method as Ag NPs PVA composites. Brownish to radish films are prepared and characterized by SEM, EDS and UV vis spectra of absorbance and fluorescence. AC and DC conductivity and mechanical properties by ultrasonic waves were studied. SEM shows spherical shape of Ag NPs. According to UV vis spectra, peak of plasmon resonance among 350- 600 nm increased with time of synthesis, also fluorescence emission at 443 nm as an indication of successive synthesis of Ag NPs. AC and DC conductivity were studied and Ag NPs and increased with increasing of frequency and temperature respectively.
