The author has a wide range of experience from working on or leading a variety of projects aimed at developing and scaling up new chemical manufacturing processes and commercializing them as well as solving long-standing problems in existing commercial processes and implementing solutions. Several real examples of the projects and learning along with strategies for successful process development will be presented. The author will also discuss why some projects were successful and some were not.
