NuScale Power is the first small modular reactor (SMR) nuclear technology to receive U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission design approval, and is advancing its work to bring the first SMR power plant online in the U.S. this decade. The NuScale concept is a simplified, small, cost competitive, scalable modular design. It is designed to safely shut down and self cool indefinitely with no operator action, or external water or power input.

This presentation will review the technology and benefits of the NuScale design, the status of the current projects, and potential future synergies of the NuScale design combined with other processes and systems.
