It will cover the following topics: adsorption phenomenon, structure and chemistry of adsorbents, equilibrium and dynamic characteristics of an adsorbent bed, regeneration by thermal swing, operation of an adsorption unit, and an overview of commonly encountered issues. This tutorial is focused on adsorption applications in ethylene production plants.
