Developing Processes in a Changing World – Future Trends that Will Change The Way We Work

Our capacity to understand the key trends that will shape the future of chemical engineering will determine how we need to prepare ourselves personally and professionally.  Business trends such as globalization, sustainability, and evolving business models combined with key megatrends in areas like energy, water, infrastructure, transportation, and health will shape the constraints for developing processes in the future.  As economic growth continues around the world, the increasing demands for fresh water, energy, and food will change how we view the resources we use to make our products.  Hank will discuss how this changing environment will dramatically impact our approaches to process development and the ways we will measure success.
