Techniques for Removing Fine and Ultrafine Particles from Gaseous, Aqueous or Non-Aqueous Media

Chair(s)

Co-chair(s)

Baled, H. O., University of Pittsburgh

The session solicits papers on techniques for purifying gaseous, aqueous or non-aqueous media. Product streams from process plants typically require to be treated, to remove contaminants and attain desired product specifications. Intermediate process streams are often treated to protect downstream processes, equipment, or to minimize/eliminate unwanted side reactions. Biological and biomedical applications of fluid purification and fines separations are also of interest.
