Please join us at this signature event as we continue our annual tradition of awarding scholarships to local high school students pursuing careers in chemical engineering. This year we are awarding a scholarship to Nidhesh Padarthi, a senior at Cumberland Valley High School. He will be attending University of Pittsburgh this fall.

In addition, a local chemical engineer will give a presentation on their career path as a chemical engineer.

This is a great opportunity for seasoned and young professionals alike to gain first-hand information and practical advice on diverse career paths within chemical engineering.

When you arrive at the Hershey Technical Center, please park in the area designated for visitors. Go to Security and register. Security will direct you to the room where the event will be held.

Schedule:

  • 5:30-5:45 Arrival
  • 5:45-6:00 Introductions & Announcements
  • 6:00-6:30 Dinner
  • 6:30-7:00 Presentation by a chemical engineer
  • 7:00-7:15 Presentation of Scholarship Award
  • 7:15-7:30 Photos and Adjournment

Menu:

Food will be provided by Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant. Please choose from the following 4 menu selections:

  1. Crab Cake Sandwich
  2. Pub Burger (please select beef, turkey, or vegetarian black been patty)
  3. OMG BLT Sandwich
  4. Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad
