Saudi Arabian Section-AIChE

The Saudi Arabian Section of AIChE

The Saudi Arabian Section of the AIChE is a self-governing unit and was founded in 1988. Since that time, the Section has been arranging activities and programs of interest to the membership.

Section meetings have provided members with an opportunity to meet in an informal professional atmosphere with those in engineering and management functions in other organizations. The section has been very successful in attracting high quality speakers for a variety of topical subjects. The subjects presented at meetings, though related to Chemical Engineering and to the Process Industries, are often of a general nature. And the regular meetings have been well attended. It has memberships from all major companies of Saudi Arabia including SABIC, Saudi Aramco, Sadara, DOW, SWCC, Royal Commission, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, King Faisal University, Prince Mohammad University, and many other private companies.

Members are welcome to invite guests who have an interest in the subject of a particular meeting. In general, meetings are open to members of other engineering societies or to the interested public at large.
