Join us for a tour of Monsanto’s Research Greenhouse Facility. Monsanto handles 13,000 plants a day in a fully automated process between three greenhouses.

The plants are moved daily from the greenhouses to watering, weighing, imaging and fertilizing stations. When these steps are completed, the plants are returned to a different location in the greenhouses.

The goal of this research is to bring plants to the market with traits beneficial to farmers, such as drought tolerance.
