Draft Witherspoon Distillery Tour

We are excited to have found a “learn and have fun” plant tour that we are sure everyone will enjoy. Your significant other will be warmly welcome, but the tour is exclusively for the over 21 crowd. However, the bar, lounge and garden areas are family friendly, so families would join after the tour, at about 3:30 PM.

 

The people at the distillery are looking forward to our visit. Here is an excerpt of their response: “Thank you for thinking of us for such an interesting tour! I can already tell you that my husband/business  partner will want to be a part of it. We own the distillery, but he does still occasionally guide tours. This one is right up his alley. I'm sure our distillers will also want to participate.” … “Each tour ends with a tasting of our spirits.”

 

The distillery is within walking distance of Lewisville downtown district, which has many historic attractions and great restaurants such as Prohibition Chicken, Tierney’s Café and Tavern, Twisted Root Burger Co., and Cavalli’s Pizza.

 

You may want to come into town early and have a leisure lunch before the tour or maybe a late lunch after the tour. There might be a food truck parked at the distillery, but that is not guaranteed.
