Dimitrios is currently a supervisor in the Automation & Process Control division of ExxonMobil Technology & Engineering Company. There he leads a global team of Process Control Application Engineers focusing on Differentiating Technologies and Nonlinear Model Predictive Control. Dimitrios’ previous roles within ExxonMobil include Chemicals Real-Time Optimization (RTO) Subject Matter Expert and RTO Engineer where he has been presented with two division level ExxonMobil Leadership Awards. Dimitrios is an active AIChE member and recently served as the 2022 AIChE CAST 10C Programming Coordinator. Prior to ExxonMobil, Dimitrios held various positions in Process Systems Enterprise Inc. (PSE) focusing on delivering modeling solutions to Energy and Chemicals businesses. Dimitrios is a chemical engineer by education and has completed his Diploma at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and his PhD at the University of Minnesota (USA).
