Congratulations to Dr. Calvin Tsay, the 2022 W. David Smith, Jr. Graduate Publication Award winner! Dr. Calvin Tsay is an EPSRC David Clarke Fellow and an Imperial College Research Fellow at the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. He received a BS in chemical and biomolecular engineering and a BA in managerial studies from Rice University, and his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Dr. Michael Baldea. His research interests are in the areas of computational optimization, process dynamics/control, optimization for machine learning, and process systems engineering.
