Let me add my congratulations to those you have already received. Currently, less than 2% of AIChE membership reaches the grade of Fellow. In no small part, your election reflects your willingness to work toward a better and stronger AIChE.
The AIChE Board of Directors established the Fellows Council to represent the Fellowship and to help mobilize that incredible human resource pool to focus on issues and activities important to the profession and the Institute. Currently the Fellows Council has programs to bolster student chapters, the local Sections, young professionals and to identify strategic issues that will influence the practice of chemical engineering in the future and all of society.
The profession and the Institute need your continued effort as a volunteer. The Fellows Council wants to connect you to opportunities for service aligned with your areas of personal interest. To efficiently do that, we need for you to tell us about them.
