Bill is Senior Director Technology - Titanium Technologies for The Chemours Company in Wilmington, DE. He is accountable for the R&D, product development and manufacturing technology organizations of the global titanium dioxide pigment business. Most recently he served as Director - Engineering Technology at Chemours, where has was accountable for leading the company’s efforts to transform and renew the leveraged engineering competencies in support of Manufacturing Operations, large Capital Growth Projects, Sustainability and Process Safety.
Bill has over 30 years of experience with DuPont and Chemours in R&D and Manufacturing technology management, as well as assignments in corporate risk management and trade secret protection. He was a member of the Chemours team to execute the separation and formation of the company in 2015.
Bill graduated with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and received his M.S.C.E.P and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
