Venkat Subramanian, PhD, is the Washington Research Foundation Innovation Professor of Chemical Engineering and Clean Energy at the Univ. of Washington. His research spans many aspects of clean energy and data science including optimization, control, and battery management systems. He has a BTech in chemical and electrochemical engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi, India, and a PhD in chemical engineering from the Univ. of South Carolina.
