Tony Joseph Mathew graduated with a bachelors in chemical engineering in 2016 from IIT Madras, India. He received his doctorate in 2021 from Purdue University, U.S.A., where he made advances in the modelling and optimization of multicomponent distillation configurations under Professors Rakesh Agrawal and Mohit Tawarmalani. He is currently a postdoctoral appointee at Argonne National Laboratory, U.S.A., developing systematic methods for process intensification in the manufacturing and chemical industries.
