Stijn is a postdoctoral associate and lecturer at the Center for Industrial Ecology. He teaches and does research in the field of energy, environment, and resources. His work is at the intersection of industrial ecology and sustainability transitions, with a focus on engineering and public policy for waste management and the circular economy. Stijn previously worked as a Research Associate at University College London (UCL), where he also obtained his PhD in Sustainable Resources and Engineering. His thesis focused on the climate benefits of circular use of materials.
