Simone Bruno

Simone Bruno, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Prof. Franziska Michor, with a dual affiliation at the Department of Data Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard University. His research focuses on developing, analyzing, and validating mathematical models of complex dynamical systems, particularly in the context of chromatin modification dynamics and epigenetics. The goal is to gain a mechanistic understanding of how chromatin modifications affect cell memory and how this, in turn, influences biological processes such as cellular reprogramming and cancer evolution. Simone received his BS and MS from Università La Sapienza and his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specializing in System Dynamics and Control under the guidance of Prof. Domitilla Del Vecchio.
