Shane has more than 25 years of experience, focused on all forms of AI, Big Data, and Quantum Applications in Europe, USA, and Asia. Shane holds an MPhil (Master of Philosophy - Advanced Masters) in Electronics/Physics, is a Corporate Lifetime Member of IEE & IET and Chartered Engineer. Currently working at Zapata as a Consultant Business Development for Europe, Shane is assisting Enterprise, Government and Accademia in ways to solve challenging business problems, that will involve quantum computing and the creation of applications that can be developed using Zapata Orchestra software frameworks and toolsets, to speed time to solution. Current focus is working with many large Global Banks, Aerospace, Chemistry, Oil/Gas, Government and Military, Transport, and Life Sciences. In each case, determining the business need for quantum, for solving intractable use case problems that cannot be solved in a classical (HPC) domain.
