Shamsheer Mahammad holds an MS/Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University. His doctoral thesis involved leveraging rheological tools to study the kinetics of enzymatic reactions in water-soluble polymer solutions. He has been working as a rheologist at Kraft Heinz company, advising product/process developers in developing food products with desired texture and the shelf-stability. Before joining Kraft Heinz, he worked as a polymer scientist for Johns Manville Corporation, OH. His research areas include the rheological and thermal analysis of soft-matter, inline rheometry, and building sensory-rheology correlations.
