Richard Prugh's process safety experience includes 30 years in Du Pont's explosives, organic chemicals, safety and fire protection, and engineering departments. This was followed by 17 years as a full-time independent process-safety consultant and, currently, 8 years with Chilworth Global. He is a Fellow member of the AIChE and is a registered Chemical Engineer in five states and a registered Fire Protection engineer in Maryland. He also is a graduate of the Process Safety Institute as a Quantitative Risk Assessment Analyst and is a Certifed Safety Professional. His contributions to the Loss Prevention Symposia have been primarily directed toward quantification of hazards and risks.
