Richard Brooke-Smith is an engineer with WorleyParsons with over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He has spent the last 20 years working with onshore pipeline projects both in Australia and overseas. Most of the pipeline projects in Western Australia have involved gas pipelines along with some multi-product oil pipelines in India and South Africa and recently Melbourne. Richard has also worked on slurry pipeline studies for mining projects. He managed the Onshore Pipelines business within WorleyParsons for 10 years before returning to a pipelines project engineering role.
He previously spent 12 years working for BP Australia in operations and engineering where he managed a range of different projects from bulk tank repairs, pipeline rehabilitation to complete construction of new service stations.
