Revonda Tew has 19 years chemical industry experience (8.5 years in process development,engineering, and PSM). She has led PSM compliance initiative atlarge chemical facility, authoring policies and procedures to address industry, regulatory, and company standards; managed their implementation. She holds one US patent. She has participated in/led over 40 PHAs, many MOC risk reviews/approvals, several investigations, and many PSM compliance audits and Risk Based Process Safety (RBPS) assessments (Best Practice Assessments). She has developed customized training materials including RBPS, PSM, MOC, PHA leadership, and PSM auditing, and is a co-instructor for these topics and for incident investigation. For the past 7 years, she has consultanted to the chemical and oil/refining industry, providing PSM-related services including leading four PSM compliance/best practice audits for oil/refining company and has been a member of 7 other PSM audit teams. She is a CONTRIBUTING AUTHOR - Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures, Third Edition with Worked Examples, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, New York, NY, 2008. She has also co-authored several process safety related papers.
