Peter Wright is a Professional Engineer licensed in New York State. He works part time as an Agricultural Engineer in the Department of Animal Science at Cornell University, Ithaca NY. Pete assists the dairy environmental engineering and energy component of Cornell's PRO-DAIRY program, concentrating on anaerobic digestion, renewable energy and environmental practices for farms. His last full-time experience was with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, part of the US Department of Agriculture as the NY State Conservation Engineer, in charge of the engineering aspects of conservation practices with USDA. Previously he worked fulltime for PRO-DAIRY as a manure management expert encouraging Anaerobic Digestion of manure.
