Peter Piotrowski is Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Process Technology and Equipment Business Unit of UOP LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Honeywell International. UOP is an international supplier of process technology, catalysts, engineered systems, and technical and engineering services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, chemical, and gas processing industries.
Pete joined UOP in 1974 as a process engineer in the experimental development center for UOP and has since held a number of technical, commercial and business positions. He spent 11 years in various capacities in the technical services department, including five years in the United Kingdom serving UOP customers in the regions of the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and India. In 1990, Pete was appointed sales manager for China. He subsequently held a number of sales and business positions including, Director of UOP’s Gasoline Technologies business; Sales Director, Far East and Americas, and General Manager of UOP’s worldwide sales force. Before assuming his current position, he was General Manager for PT&E for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Chicago, IL is home to Pete, his wife Cindy, and their 2 children. Pete holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago; and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
