Dr. Paul Olubummo received his MSc and PhD degree in Polymer Material Science from the Martin Luther University, Halle Germany. He joined Chevron Oronite after his PhD where he developed polymeric materials for engine oil additives. He then joined HP Labs where he is currently a Senior Research Engineer leading the research into development of materials and agents for 3D print and digital manufacturing. Dr Olubummo's research is in the broad field of polymeric materials and focuses on developing fundamental understanding of material properties of functional materials through experimentation and constitutive modeling, then applying these understandings to application designs.
