Pankaj Desai is presently Licensing Sales Manager – Americas for Shell Global Solutions (US). In this role, he serves as lead business development licensing sales manager and commercialization leader for Shell’s technologies, including hydroprocessing, catalytic cracking, distillation, thermal conversion, gas treating, and ethylene oxide. Prior to joining Shell, he worked for 27 years with Akzo Nobel Catalysts and Albermarle Catalysts in various positions in R&D, marketing, sales, technical services, business development, and licensing. He has over 30 papers and publications in various trade journals and holds 3 patents.
Pankaj has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a MS and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
