Dr Pablo García-Triñanes joined the University of Greenwich in September 2016 as an associate researcher for the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology. His research interests include engineering studies of particulate materials especially particles mainly related with energy, pharmaceuticals and food applications along with modern characterization methods, particle tracking and simulation. Dr García-Triñanes is the Programme Leader for Chemical Engineering at Greenwich and coordinator of the Materials and Chemical Engineering Research Group. Currently he is exploring the use of fluidized beds in accelerated carbonation technology; the formulation of biological ingredients, including high-value compounds from microalgae into food applications; as well as the the study of thermomechanical behaviour and heat transfer processes.
