Marvin has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and the University of Colorado, respectively. He has worked in different functions associated with Technical Service and Technical Services supporting applications of products and operations /manufacturing, respectively, with several chemical manufacturing companies including Akzo Nobel, Ingevity, Vantage Specialty Chemicals and Lucite International. Operations support has included a component of process safety management, process and process engineering.
Marvin’s background includes project management, having worked with all types of unit operations and hazardous/non-hazardous materials. His technical service activities have enabled him to interact with Latin American customers, by using his language skills in Spanish and Portuguese. His almost 30 years of experience in the industry and the region will be invaluable to CCPS through his new role as the Latin Regional Manager.
