Martin Geithmann is a Senior Project Engineer with Plastic Technologies, Inc. (PTI). He has over 20 years’ experience in packaging design and development, including design of preforms and bottles, prototype creation, injection molding, blow molding and container testing. Geithmann also has extensive experience with a variety of food-grade polymers (PET, PP, etc.) as well as carbonated soft-drink, hot-fill and aseptic packaging. He is listed as an inventor or co-inventor on nine US patents, and frequently teaches preform and bottle design. He has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo, and resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
