Maria joined Xerox Research Center of Canada in July 2002.With training as both a chemical engineer and chemist, her main activities include streamlining and transfer of optimized processes to the Pilot Plant. Her previous work also included developments in printed organic electronics, nanopigments, fluorescent materials for document security and novel marking materials for ink components. She holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Politechnica University of Timisoara and Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from Carleton University Ottawa.
