Long Sang RenixFor more than ten years, Dr. Sang’s research and process expertise in steady-state fluid-particle systems were developed while obtaining his doctoral degrees in Chemical Engineering from University of Western Ontario and in Fluid Machinery and Fluid Engineering from China Agricultural University. Dr. Sang has since combined his knowledge of modeling and process optimization with practical application while working in scale-up and process engineering at Renix Inc. over the past four years. At Renix, Dr. Sang has developed components of the patented steady-state Uninterrupted Ion Exchange (UIX) system and scale-up models which have been validated in various applications at different scales. He is part of a team that solves contaminant problems and provides value-recovery solutions for Renix’s clients, and he led the commissioning and validation of a demonstration scale system in a side-by-side implementation with a traditional batch-plant operation.
