Leen Schellekens finished her degree as Master in Chemical Engineering in 1995 from the University De Nayer in Belgium. Leen worked for 9 years at J&J PR&D,Belgium. She was scientist in the Safety Testing Lab of the Chemical Development Department where she was responsible for process safety testing supporting early development up to manufacturing. She also focussed two years on process scale up modelling in this role. Her career continued at J&JPR&D as Process and Project Engineer in Chemical Production Plant until April 2004. April 2004, she moved to Mettler Toledo to become a Snr. Technology & Application Consultant responsible for parts of Europe. In August 2005, Leen moved to the USA, where she is currently Technology & Application Consultants manager & Market manager for RXE & RA solutions for the Americas.
