Dr. Ford earned her BS in chemical engineering at Oklahoma State University and her MS and PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Some of her service roles include AIChE Education Division Course Survey Committee Chair, ASEE Chemical Engineering Division Secretary/Treasurer and Chair, Chemical Engineering Education Publications Board Vice-chair, and Tulsa Engineering Challenge Chemical Switch Co-coordinator. She has taught the unit operations laboratory courses for over 20 years and also teaches process control, separations, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
